July Morning, "Look at Yourself", Uriah Heep, 1971

          Uriah Heep團名取材自狄更斯小說"David Copperfield"中的人物，後人常用Uriah Heep來當作虛偽小人的代名詞。Uriah Heep是70年代初期重要的英國重搖滾樂團，同時期與之齊名的有Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath，也是第二波英倫入侵美國的代表團體之一，不過因後期團員變動頻繁，在美國市場也並沒有十分成功，因此在國內知名度也比不上上述三個團體，但仍留下許多經典作品，July Morning即為其中之一。

        在70年代初期開始，Art/Progressive Rock剛興起，許多樂團愈來愈醉心於創作超過10分鐘的長篇史詩巨作，Deep Purple有"Child in Time", Yes有"Heart of the Sunrise", 連Led Zeppelin的"Stairway to Heaven"也超過8分鐘，July Morning也在這種風潮下產生。歌詞內容也淺顯易懂，一個異鄉遊子在外闖蕩多時迭遇措折後，決定返鄉，他仍然相信在某處依然可以找到真愛，算是首很有正面意義的搖滾歌曲。Uriah Heep在當時有兩位靈魂人物，創作能力優秀的鍵盤手Ken Hensley和主唱David Byron。Hensley優異的創作能力和Byron空靈頗賦魅力的嗓音，替Uriah Heep在英國及歐洲帶來不少市場上肯定，但1976年David Byron因酗酒問題被開除後，樂團聲勢大落，更換幾位主唱仍無法勝任Hensley的作品水準後，Hensley也在80年離團，此後Uriah Heep雖仍由創始團員Mick Box堅持，但是已經無法再創70年代盛況。
